ALLEGORICA Opera Management originated from an intuitive idea. After having completed “cum laude” a master degree in the scientific field, Paolo Monacchi decided to dedicate himself entirely to creating a business dealing with his life-long passion: the enjoyment of great music from the past.

The agency has the administrative office in Urbino, Italy and the operative office in Paris.

Today, the business is engaged in the management of lyric artists in the traditional operatic sector, with particular attention to baroque and classic repertories.
Such a distinctive hallmark in a country abounding with great Nineteenth century Italian composers, together with other fortunate circumstances, has permitted the business to become, in a brief period of time, an agency functioning as an international reference point for the greater part of the major principal operatic directors.

Some of the most prestigious names in the interpretation of Seventeenth and Eighteenth century music actively collaborate and are represented by Allegorica.
As such, the aim of the management is to maintain a personal approach in strict accord with the artist during the various phases of his/her career.

Allegorica has a privileged partnership with the franco-german agency Music Concept who manages some of the most prestigious ensembles in Europe.
